I was appointed as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in the shoulder and elbow at St. George's Hospital, London in January 2003. My particular interest is the arthroscopic management of shoulder and elbow disorders, especially the rotator cuff and instability. My practice also includes replacement of these joints and complex reconstruction following trauma.

I run a number of courses including Basic Arthroscopy and Basic Surgical Skills in conjunction with the Royal College of Surgeons of England as well as lecturing to senior surgeons on aspects of arthroscopic surgery.
I also hold the patent for the technique of Arthroscopic Stabilisation of Acute Acromioclavicular Joint Dislocation
